Tuesday or Friday?

Breakfast: Espresso and one apricot kiffel. Yum! Thanks Al.

I'm not sure but I kept feeling that today was Friday. And then this afternoon, I was a the car wash waiting and this dude drives up in a big truck with two dirt bikes tied down on the bed. He comes out of the mart and proceeds to put ice, bottled water and beer into two huge coolers. Again I thought "Is it Friday?".

I dunno.

I got to talk with Stephanie for a bit this morning...I needed an email and she was my only option to get it. She was in her favorite coffee place...waiting for her morning fix. We chatted for a little bit and it really was a bright spot in my day. I miss Stephanie and Chad - we used to have so much fun hanging out together back in the day.

I finally finished the data migration for Jackie. She's out in Shasta County until Thursday but I'm sure she'll be thrilled when she returns to find everything is in order, everything is working, and she has nothing to worry about.

Stopped by the museum on the way home after they left me several messages to visit. I had some time so I went. I've had some hard feelings about the museum ever since they "let me go" and then asked me to come back, do what I was doing before but for no compensation. They are receiving a large tablet at the end of November and they want me to head up the project team. Of course, with no pay. I'm supposed to do this out of the love of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Okay, so they got me. What can I say? Now I have to worry about logistics - I'm supposed to leave for Arizona on the first and now I have to organize this team while I'm away. I think I better go buy that cellular wireless card I've been watching for a while.

My scheduled bright spot tomorrow is my lunch date with Constantine.

Editorial...

Who the hell in this country really, truly cares about political polls? Seriously. I studied statistics for two semesters at university. I think what I learned out that time wasted was that a good number juggler can make statistics say ANYTHING. Okay, okay, so some stats are important. Like one out of five American have herpes. Of those, half don't know it. Lesson learned....use a condom every time. But what about politics?

I certainly don't care that 67% of Americans worry more that McCain is 72 years old than 32% of Americans who think America is not ready for a black president.

C'mon. Am I the only one here?
